Game drives are conducted in comfortable, open, and roof-covered vehicles, ensuring your safety and comfort. Given the vast size of the conservancy, we recommend a minimum 3-night stay to fully appreciate all there is to see and do.

Guests can look forward to encountering a magnificent selection of African wildlife, including buffalo, elephant, leopard, white rhino, and black rhino. The conservancy is also home to a diverse range of plains game, as well as cheetahs, hippos, and giraffes.
For birding enthusiasts, Buffalo Kloof boasts an impressive array of birdlife. You can expect to see beautiful species such as the Crowned Eagle, Knysna Turaco, African Fish Eagle, Secretary Bird, Black Harrier Hawk, African Cuckoo Hawk, Denham’s Bustard, Half-collared Kingfisher, Giant Kingfisher, Blue Crane, Southern Tchagra, Knysna Woodpecker, and Olive Woodpecker.
As a low-footprint destination, we maintain a room-to-hectare ratio of 1:1500, ensuring minimal impact on the environment.
