Buffalo Kloof

Explore an undulating ever-changing landscape.

Buffalo Kloof is located in South Africa’s Eastern Cape malaria-free province, one of the most biodiverse conservation areas in Southern Africa. It is conveniently situated just 120 km from Chief Dawid Stuurman International Airport in Gqeberha (formerly Port Elizabeth); 1.5 hours by vehicle or 35 minutes by helicopter.

The conservancy spans 20,000 hectares of untouched Kowie River thicket and old farmlands which have been restored to a veritable Eden of diverse flora, fauna, and ecology. Buffalo Kloof encompasses 4 different flora biomes and hosts 4 members of the Big 5 – elephant, rhino, Cape buffalo and leopard.
