Our beach houses are optional add ons for the Orion Experience. A day beach outing from the Buffalo Kloof bush camps is easily accessible with just a 10 minute helicopter flight. The experience is flexible and designed entirely to your preference. For those wishing to stay longer at the coast – we offer two accommodation options: “The Wells” Port Alfred Beach House and the Kleinemonde Beach House.

Reserved until now, two beach houses have now been added to the Orion Experience offering, perched on the dunes overlooking a pristine stretch of coastline. Indulge in various Indian Ocean coastal activities including deep sea fishing, canoeing and beach horseback trails. For a more laid-back experience spend the day relaxing at the spa or relaxing at the beach.

“The Wells” Port Alfred Beach House

Understated luxury for the more adventurous. The Wells Port Alfred Beach House is a resplendent open plan house with access to a secluded beach, rock pools full of mussels and oysters, and the opportunity to venture out to sea to view sea birds, dolphins and whales.

With 4 en-suite bedrooms and all the luxuries of a Buffalo Kloof lodge, it is the perfect foil to the excitement and activities of the bush. Accommodating up to 8 guests comfortably, the house features a spacious living area, swimming pool and an outdoor braai area.

Lavish ocean views, a sparkling swimming pool and private beach are just a few of the outstanding features of this stunning accommodation option. Found on the sands of one of the Eastern Cape’s most beautiful beaches.
